Exhibitions

Kate has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions since 2000.

THE LIGHT OF ELI

See Exhibition

These works were exhibited at St Albans Gallery, St Albans, NSW in June 2009. The exhibition was a tribute to Kate's nephew - Eli Westlake. The works are all inspired by aspects of Eli's life and death: seascapes, 'water shrines', fantasy glimpses of his St. Albans childhood, and a series engaging the use of Joss paper (burned at traditional Chinese funerals, to ensure that spirit of the deceased has lots of good things in the afterlife). The exhibition focuses on light and reflections.

CITY OF RUST

See Exhibition

These works are to be exhibited at The Ensemble Theatre foyer, 68 MacDougall Street, Milsons Point, from September 2010. These paintings look at the beauty and character of rust integrated with landscapes. Like an old wrinkled face, rust shows a history, a past, a story, and seeps into the world around it.
